There are a few important considerations to follow when using golf cart batteries to ensure optimal maintenance of the battery's performance and life:

Charging: make sure the battery is fully charged before use, we have a low battery alarm that is when there is still 10% charge left. Avoid over discharging the battery as this can damage the performance. Use a dedicated charger for charging and keep the charger in good contact with the battery to ensure stable current transfer.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Keeping the battery clean is the key to maintenance. Clean the surface of the battery regularly to remove dust and debris, and check the battery terminals for looseness and corrosion.

Prevent over-discharge: Avoid discharging the battery to too low a state, as too deep a discharge will reduce battery life. When using the golf cart, it should be recharged in time to avoid too low a charge.

Storage environment: Batteries should be stored in a dry, ventilated environment with suitable temperature. In winter, if the golf cart is not in use, the battery should be removed and stored indoors to prevent the battery from being affected by the low temperature of the battery life. If in summer, do not leave the battery outside in the sun, which will also affect the service life of the battery.

Avoid malfunctions: In the event of a malfunction, the battery and circuit should be checked promptly. Failure of the battery and circuit may render the cart unusable, avoiding damage to the cart.

Following these precautions will ensure that the performance and lifespan of the golf cart battery is maximised, thus guaranteeing the normal operation of the golf cart.
